Darksiders 2 is on its way to OnLive and will be available on 20th August 2012.
You will be able to play Darksiders 2 on your PC, Mac, OnLive console, Android tablet and with the help of the OnLive application, players will be able to continue their progress on any of the above mentioned devices.
Of course, the game will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC as well.
Darksiders 2 picks up where the first one left off. Death tries to save his falsely accused brother of the charges. The loot and skill tree systems will help players enjoy every bit of the vastly improved gameplay, world and story that is Darksiders 2.
“We’ve taken Darksiders to new heights with this epic game, and we’re excited to share it with an even broader audience and a broader range of devices through OnLive,” said Jim Huntley, THQ’s Vice President of Global Brand Management
So if you have an OnLive account, go and try this amazing game as soon as you can. Signing up for an OnLive account is free at www.onlive.co.uk and an instant demo will let players try Darksiders 2 for free for up to 30 minutes.
There are two very interesting pieces of news came through from OnLive.
The first one is that you can sign up for a closed beta of the the MultiView feature that allows you to spectate up to three of your friends while playing. Here’s the link for it: https://www.onlive.co.uk/beta/login
Also, great news for Darksiders fans! If you pre-order Darksiders 2, you’ll get a FREE OnLive game console! (Be quick about it though because the offer runs out on the 28th June!)

Let’s say there’s something that you would like to do to help disabled kids. In any way. Well, some of the devoted members of the video games industry put their foot down to do just that. Literally.
Talking about gaming, the event was built around games, which included some extremely awesome unique costumes. :)
Today, there was an event, called Special10k which was about a 10km run for the industry specific charity, Special Effect. I do not know how much the guys managed to collect but to be honest, it doesn’t really matter as every little helps. Before you would laugh it off though, as far as I know, almost everyone managed to hit their target which was a 4 digit number.
So be happy and charitable next time as well people. It’s fun! :)
In case you want to see WHY it is fun, follow @MrPointyHead @AceyBongos @SpiltMilkStudio et al. for some amazing pics. I would put some up here but I don’t want to take the “glory” away from them. :D
Congrats to all the runners and of course to all of you who were willing to contribute with your hard earned cash for a good cause.
